Operations Manager - process improvement (Omaha, NE)

Greenridge Bridge Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Omaha with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with landfill records. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
