Operations Manager - process improvement (Omaha, NE)

Rivermark Lakeside Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Omaha, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for dock schedules and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Omaha. • We reply to every applicant.
