Operations Manager - process improvement (Omaha, NE)

We are growing our team at Nova Meridian Facilities and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a large organisation of about 442 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for work orders and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with contractor visits. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
