Operations Manager - process improvement (Omaha, NE)

Westbrook Juniper Inspection Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for test reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with equipment calibration. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
