Operations Manager - process improvement (Oklahoma City, OK)

Northwind Meridian Foods Group produces packaged foods at its Oklahoma City plant. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people based in Oklahoma City. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Oklahoma City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
