Operations Manager - process improvement (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Ivory Inspection Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for client sites and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
