Operations Manager - process improvement (Oakland, CA)

Northwind Drift Facilities Associates is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for customer sites, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Bilingual teams are common. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for customer sites and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with cleaning schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
