Operations Manager - process improvement (Oakland, CA)

Silverline Orchard Inspection Services is an inspection company in Oakland with field technicians and lab staff, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for field inspections and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with scheduling. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
