Operations Manager - process improvement (New Orleans, LA)

Harborlight Fox Construction is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for materials orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 550 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Track performance measures for materials orders and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with safety records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
