Operations Manager - process improvement (New Orleans, LA)

Foxglove Union Transit Planning helps transport agencies around New Orleans design routes and schedules, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
