Operations Manager - process improvement (Nashville, TN)

Stonegate Lakeside Freight is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for carrier rates and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Nashville. • We reply to every applicant.
