Operations Manager - process improvement (Nashville, TN)

Amberfield Quarry Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Nashville, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for equipment calibration and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with field inspections. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Nashville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
