Operations Manager - process improvement (Nashville, TN)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Union Environmental Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 105 people based in Nashville. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Nashville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
