Operations Manager - process improvement (Nashville, TN)

Northwind Manufacturing makes precision components in Nashville. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with production lines. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Nashville. • We reply to every applicant.
