Operations Manager - process improvement (Nashville, TN)

Foxglove Cobalt Construction is a Nashville contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Track performance measures for project schedules and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with change orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Nashville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
