Operations Manager - process improvement (Minneapolis, MN)

Bluepeak Orchard Foods is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for customer specifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 13 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for customer specifications and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
