Operations Manager - process improvement (Minneapolis, MN)

Cedar Rowan Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Minneapolis design routes and schedules. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for route schedules and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service alerts. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
