Operations Manager - process improvement (Minneapolis, MN)

Bluepeak Orchard Foods produces packaged foods at its Minneapolis plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for sanitation schedules and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
