Operations Manager - process improvement (Minneapolis, MN)

Rivermark Oak Freight Group moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Minneapolis, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for loads and lanes and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with dock schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Minneapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
