Operations Manager - process improvement (Minneapolis, MN)

Amberfield Ivory Inspection Services Partners is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for certifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for certifications and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with equipment calibration. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
