Operations Manager - process improvement (Milwaukee, WI)

Highbridge Maple Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Milwaukee and nearby communities. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would join a large organisation of about 873 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Track performance measures for meter reading and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with capital projects. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
