Operations Manager - process improvement (Miami, FL)

Fernwood Ashton Freight is a Miami logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Miami. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
