Operations Manager - process improvement (Memphis, TN)

Fernwood Cedar Inspection Services is an inspection company in Memphis with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for field inspections and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with certifications. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Memphis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
