Operations Manager - process improvement (Madison, WI)

We are growing our team at Northwind Juniper Foods and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 172 people based in Madison. What you will do • Track performance measures for allergen controls and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Madison. • We reply to every applicant.
