Operations Manager - process improvement (Louisville, KY)

Cedar Beacon Manufacturing Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for customer orders and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Louisville. • We reply to every applicant.
