Operations Manager - process improvement (Louisville, KY)

Redstone Iron Construction Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for permits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 104 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Track performance measures for permits and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with change orders.
