Operations Manager - process improvement (Little Rock, AR)

Rivermark Wren Freight is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for proof of delivery, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for proof of delivery and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Little Rock. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
