Operations Manager - process improvement (Las Vegas, NV)

Westbrook Nest Manufacturing is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for scrap and rework, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 243 people based in Las Vegas. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for scrap and rework and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with tooling. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Las Vegas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
