Operations Manager - process improvement (Knoxville, TN)

We are growing our team at Lumen Pike Auto Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for service appointments and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with parts orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
