Operations Manager - process improvement (Knoxville, TN)

Highbridge River Manufacturing is a Knoxville manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for work orders and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
