Operations Manager - process improvement (Kansas City, MO)

Silverline Hollow Farms is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for cold storage, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 264 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for cold storage and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with packing house output. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
