Operations Manager - process improvement (Jacksonville, FL)

Summit Pine Manufacturing Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for production lines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 26 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for production lines and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with machine downtime.
