Operations Manager - process improvement (Indianapolis, IN)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Keystone Foods and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 35 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for sanitation schedules and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with customer specifications. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
