Operations Manager - process improvement (Indianapolis, IN)

Lumen Forge Farms is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for field records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for field records and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with seasonal crews. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
