Operations Manager - process improvement (Indianapolis, IN)

Bright Juniper Foods produces packaged foods at its Indianapolis plant. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for ingredient orders and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
