Operations Manager - process improvement (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Pine Manufacturing and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people based in Houston. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
