Operations Manager - process improvement (Honolulu, HI)

Amberfield Lakeside Environmental Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for recycling loads, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for recycling loads and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Honolulu. • We reply to every applicant.
