Operations Manager - process improvement (Honolulu, HI)

Westbrook Basin Inspection Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for test reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for test reports and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with scheduling. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
