Operations Manager - process improvement (Hartford, CT)

Redstone Juniper Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Hartford, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Track performance measures for accessibility audits and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
