Operations Manager - process improvement (Hartford, CT)

Redstone Clear Inspection Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for certifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 153 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for certifications and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with client sites. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
