Operations Manager - process improvement (El Paso, TX)

Lumen Granite Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for El Paso and nearby communities. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for meter reading and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in El Paso. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
