Operations Manager - process improvement (El Paso, TX)

Nova Energy is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for billing disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for billing disputes and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with meter readings.
