Operations Manager - process improvement (El Paso, TX)

Nova Bridge Freight is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for dock schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 20 people based in El Paso. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for dock schedules and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with carrier rates. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in El Paso, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
