Operations Manager - process improvement (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Sparrow Energy and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 135 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for outage response and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with billing disputes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
