Operations Manager - process improvement (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Bright Clear Environmental Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for weigh tickets and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
