Operations Manager - process improvement (Detroit, MI)

Summit Cedar Facilities Group cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Detroit, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would join a large organisation of about 519 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for safety inspections and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
