Operations Manager - process improvement (Des Moines, IA)

Cedar Birch Energy Group is an energy provider in Des Moines focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for meter readings and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with outage response. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
