Operations Manager - process improvement (Dallas, TX)

Summit Bridge Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Dallas design routes and schedules, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Track performance measures for fare systems and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service alerts. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Dallas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
