Operations Manager - process improvement (Dallas, TX)

Bright Nest Manufacturing makes precision components in Dallas. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would join a large organisation of about 533 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for customer orders and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Dallas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
