Operations Manager - process improvement (Dallas, TX)

We are growing our team at Silverline Lakeside Farms and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for seasonal crews and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with packing house output. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Dallas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
